Katelin Williams

Katelin Williams is an Associate Attorney focusing her practice on family law matters, including divorce, modification, child custody, child support, enforcements, property division, and contested litigation.  Additionally, Katelin provides estate planning and probate services.

She received her undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University, where she graduated magna cum laude, with majors in Political Science and History.  During college she participated in the Congressional Intern Program and worked a semester in Washington, D.C. and, upon returning, continued working for a U.S. Representative in Houston.  Her background and interest in law making, historical research, and regulation naturally led her to pursue a law degree.  She received her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law.

While in law school, Katelin was recognized as a Dean’s Merit Scholar and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Research and Writing.  She also participated in the school’s nationally ranked Advocacy Program.  Katelin participated as a Varsity Advocate where she traveled representing South Texas in mock trial and moot court tournaments around the country.  Prior to passing the bar, she interned at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.  She began her legal career practicing general civil litigation and quickly shifted her practice to family law.  Her legal research skills, advocacy training, and extensive background in both the procedural, as well as the practical side of the law, make her an excellent asset in the court room.

Katelin and her husband, Chad Williams, are native Houstonians.  They have two sons and a daughter.  As a mother herself, she is empathetic to the realities of constantly changing family dynamics.  She brings a thoughtful and balanced approach to her family law cases.
